This rear hydraulic brake backing plate kit is a solid, ready-to-run solution for bringing that early look and old school stopping power to your chopper. Originally designed for late Panhead early Shovelhead round swing arms with Mid Star rear wheels. 

This can now be used on almost any hardtail application using our Weld-On Cast Juice Drum Brake Tab

The backing plate comes fully assembled with the wheel cylinder, brake shoes, and springs already installed—so you’re not piecing things together one part at a time.

The brake line fitting and banjo bolt are included (when running this on a hardtail with cast axle plates you will need to use a modern banjo set up for clearance) the proper cast drum and axle kit  are sold separately to let you spec the rest of your setup correctly.
